Building relationships with all my expecting mothers is my top priority which is why I love my prenatal appointments. The more time we spend together the more trust and confidence we can have in each other.

Before Labor

PHONE/TEXT/EMAIL SUPPORT

I encourage you to reach out to me as your pregnancy progresses, to address questions, sort through your options, and help you navigate the decision-making process.

TWO TO THREE PRENATAL VISITS

I provide 2-3 prenatal visits (more as needed). These appointments can last from 2-3 hours. During this time we will discuss your sleep, nutrition, emotional health and fears, birth priorities, day-of logistics, pain-management options, newborn procedures, postpartum preparation, etc. My goal is to help you feel confident and prepared to welcome your baby.

Labor & Birth

LABOR & BIRTH SUPPORT

I prefer that you call me when you think you are in labor, even if you do not need me yet. I can answer questions and make suggestions over the phone, and we can decide if I should come to you then, or wait for further change. When you are ready for in-person support, I will join you at home or your birthplace, staying with you regardless of how long birth takes, with no time limit on our support. Labor knows no clock!

Postnatal

IMMEDIATE POSTNATAL SUPPORT

Labor support doesn’t end with birth! After your baby is born, I will stay to help initiate breastfeeding and make sure you’re comfortable. This can be anywhere from 1-2 hours after birth.

1-2 POSTNATAL FOLLOW-UP VISITS

I will visit you at home for a postnatal follow-up to chat about your birth, assess your current needs, make referrals to related postpartum services as needed and, of course, marvel over your baby!
